Adaptation Working Group
The Adaptation Working Group (AWG) is a national network between jurisdictions to foster best practice approaches to adaptation and enable jurisdictions to collaborate and consult on priority matters of common interest. It is the primary vehicle for cross-jurisdictional collaboration and consultation on the National Climate Risk Assessment and National Adaptation Plan.
The cross-jurisdictional Coastal Hazards Working Group is a sub-group of the AWG.
Objectives
The objectives of the AWG are to:
1. Identify priority matters and maximise opportunities where national or cross-jurisdictional co-ordination or response is needed.
2. Build networks across jurisdictions to share adaptation and other related information, minimise duplication and maximise efficiencies of adaptation effort where possible.
