Members of the Northern Territory (NT) Concession Scheme can receive a concession on electricity costs.
The concession is calculated on a fixed daily rate of $1.274 per day plus $0.091 per kilowatt used.
Members of the scheme can get a maximum concession of $1,200 per household per financial year. Only 1 member per household can get a concession.

- the primary account holder or financially responsible for the account.
Members using pre-paid electricity meters can get a concession if they are the owner or primary tenant and pre-pay their electricity using one of the following:
- secure meter.
Members living in a registered caravan park can get an electricity concession if they:
- receive an electricity bill
- purchase private electricity tokens.
Other conditions may apply.
