Independent organisation. Created by the Council of Australian Governments. Energy Consumers Australia promotes the long-term interests of consumers with respect to the price, quality, safety, reliability and security of supply of energy services. It conducts research and analysis, identifies issues and works with other consumer organisations, ombudsmen, energy companies, regulators and governments to improve outcomes for consumers.

The Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) Program helps improve the energy-efficiency of a range of appliances and equipment. NSW Government. NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment on behalf of the Australian Government and state and territory governments. NABERS is a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings, tenancies and homes.
Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS)
Australian Government. Department of the Environment and Energy on behalf of the Australian Government and state and territory governments. NatHERS is a star rating system (out of 10) that rates the energy efficiency of a home, based on its design.
Victorian Energy Compare
