Sustainable Event Program

Under the Sustainable Event Program, businesses can get free advice to make an event sustainable and climate friendly. Access free equipment such as signage, water units and bin tops.

For your event, the program will help you:

  • reduce waste and increase recycling
  • reduce energy and water use
  • reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • educate and raise awareness of sustainability issues with your event visitors.

Eligibility

Public events of any size held in the ACT can be part of the program. This includes school fetes, community fairs, major music festivals, sporting events and more.

To be eligible for the program you must register your event by completing the Memorandum of Understanding.
