Gas rebate for concession card holders

Location:

The NSW Gas Rebate helps people who hold eligible concession cards issued by the Commonwealth Department of Human Services or the Department of Veterans' Affairs pay their natural gas or residential LPG bills.

Households receive the rebate as a credit on each quarterly gas bill, up to a total of $110 per year. The amount is calculated daily from the day you call your supplier and apply.

Households can only receive one gas rebate each financial year.

The rebate is available to both retail and on supply customers.

    • Health Care Card issued by Services Australia, or
    • DVA Gold Card marked with either 'War Widow' or 'War Widower Pension', or 'Totally and Permanently Incapacitated' (TPI) or 'Disability Pension' (EDA).
