Fuel Security: Evaluation Framework

Evaluation is an essential part of policy development and program management. The Liquid Fuels Branch has developed this Evaluation Framework to provide a consistent, overarching approach to the way evaluations are conducted.

Evaluations on a range of fuel security and fuel quality activities will focus on a combination of:

• the design, efficiency, outcomes and impacts of programs and policies
• regulatory compliance
• regulator performance.

This framework will guide planning for each evaluation. Detailed plans will set out the scope, resourcing and governance arrangements needed to conduct each evaluation.
