Three industrial products prioritised in new discussion papers

The Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) Program has identified 3 products as priorities for immediate attention. Technical papers have been released to address industrial pumps, compressors and boilers.

Industry is invited to comment on their use of these technologies, with the aim to:

  • improve the data used to inform policy options and cost benefit analysis
  • better understand the relevant industries in the context of Australia and New Zealand
  • trigger discussion about which technologies, test methods and standards are common across the industries.

Broader industry views are being sought about the issues identified, and to improve upon the available data to inform the development of consultation regulatory impact statements.

The final date for submissions is Friday 4 December 2020.
