Applications are now open for a second round of funding to improve energy efficiency in the NSW manufacturing sector.
The NSW Government is providing manufacturers with funding for equipment upgrades and optimising energy metering and monitoring systems.
Applicants can receive up to $70,000 per site to install more energy-efficient equipment including new boilers, chillers, air compressors, fuel switching and heat recovery units.
For energy metering and monitoring, sites can qualify for up to $50,000 for projects such as metering to identify faulty equipment or sensors to improve combustion efficiency. Projects must be linked to process optimisation in order to qualify.
Applications close at 5pm AEST on 10 August 2020. For further details go to the NSW Energy Saver website.
