Feedback sought on National Electricity Rules

The Energy Security Board (ESB) has commenced a review of the National Electricity Rules with an aim to better understand how stakeholders access the rules and how they could be presented in a more user-friendly way.

The Review of the Rules Project comes as a result of the Independent Review into the Future Security of the National Electricity Market (the Finkel Review), which recommended a comprehensive review of the rules with a view to streamlining them in light of changing technologies and conditions.

As part of the project, the ESB is conducting a survey requesting feedback from stakeholders about their online experience when accessing and using the rules. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

Information collected as part of the survey will be shared with the members of the ESB including the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) and will be handled in accordance with the AEMC’s privacy policy.

The survey will remain open until 5:00pm Friday 4 September 2020.
