Australian Energy Trade 2021-22

The figure shows Australian energy imports and exports in 2021-22 by fuel type in PJ.
Over this period Australia exported 15,623 PJ and imported 2,129 PJ of energy. 65% of Australia’s exported energy was black coal and 30% was natural gas. 91% of energy imports were refined petroleum products and crude oil.
