Energy Transformation Enablers Working Group

The Energy Transformation Enablers Working Group (ETEWG) collaboratively progresses work streams agreed under the National Energy Transformation Partnership that seek to enable a smooth and equitable energy transformation that benefits all Australians. Key priorities include:

  • helping to forecast workforce capabilities and requirements to support the energy transformation, and analysing transition impacts on the existing energy workforce to inform action
  • identifying opportunities and risks to renewable generation, storage and transmission project supply chains, and coordinating action across jurisdictions
  • enhancing community engagement with the energy transformation and collaborating on actions to ensure outcomes are people-centred
  • improving outcomes for consumers vulnerable to or experiencing energy hardship.
