Energy Security and Resilience Working Group

The Energy Security and Resilience Working Group (ESRWG) supports the Energy and Climate Ministerial Council (ECMC) and the Energy and Climate Senior Officials’ Group (ECSOG) to deliver the objectives of the National Energy Transformation Partnership (NETP).

ESRWG work aligns with the NETP’s initial priority theme F: Enhance Energy Security Management, to 'collaborate on enhancements to cyber security … and fuel availability, [and] to counter increasing geopolitical challenges, market uncertainty and natural disaster impacts.'

ESRWG enables the strategies, structures and mechanisms that enhance the technical reliability, security, and resilience of the energy system against domestic and global risks.
